We are wanting to pilot a system where we scan students ID cards as they enter the classroom for attendance. Is there an option in eSchool where it can take attendance that way?
I've had some inquiries too. I don't think so, as that would boil down to positive attendance, while eSP is negative attendance (marking students absent instead of present).
I guess you could always scan the barcodes to an external list (Excel, etc), and then compare the list to TAC roster, but that's an error prone extra step.
