Creating Manual News
To manually add individual news stories, click Add Item.
Fill out the following fields:
- Title
- Body
- Summary
- Author
- Image: You can either select an image on your computer by clicking Browse or you can enter a URL for the image.
- Article URL: If you have a webpage to go with your story, you can add the URL here.
- Video: If your story has a video, add the URL here.
- Video Thumbnail: If you want to have a preview image for your video, specify it here. You can either select a thumbnail image on your computer by clicking Browse or you can enter a URL for the image.
- Audio (Location): If your story has an audio file, specify the URL here.
- Audio (Duration): Specify the length of your audio file.
Only the Title field is mandatory. The rest of the fields are optional.
Click Save to create the story.
Editing Manual News Stories
To make updates to a manually created news story, click the
icon to the right of the story.
Make any changes you wish and click Save.
Deleting Manual News Stories
To remove a manual news stories, click the icon to the right of the story.
In the box that appears, click Yes to confirm you wish to delete the story.
