Import Health Office Visits

We switched to PowerSchool SIS and our Health: Office Visits records did not transfer. Neither did the immunization records. I was able to Import Immunization records but not Health: Office Visits records.

I can export from Health: Office Visits using Data Export Manager but I cannot find the category Health: Office Visits in the Data Import Manager or Quick Import.

How do you import Health: Office Visit records?

Currently, the feature for importing Health Office Visits is not available within PowerSchool SIS.  However, we have an enhancement request on the same that is currently in development and scheduled for the next release.

Hi @DDAsmith,

If you are trying to import student immunization data into the Health Management area of PowerSchool, the Quick Import function can be used.  The requirements for importing immunization data differ from the requirements for importing other types of data.

I'm a new School Nurse, just learning how to use PowerSchool.  I attempted to look at the link provided: How To - Immunization Records.  However, it tells me that I do not have access to look at that article.  Is there a way that I can?

@TMosel  - You would need the Technical Contact for your district to show you the article as it is in the PowerSchool  SIS Knowledge Base, which I believe only Technical Contacts have access to view.

Looks like you can now do an import of health office visits. The option is there under the Import Data Manager. I have tried, but cannot successfully get anything to load. I am trying to put the student id field into the imported field "StudentID". I get an error "You cannot map StudentId without first mapping a parent column".  I have no idea what field would be a the parent column.  Help!  Is there any import documentation for office visits?

HI hansonc the schoolnumber and studentid should be the last 2 columns in your import template. Here is a link to the Health Office Visits Import Template:
