Attendance and QR Code

We are looking at having students use a QR code to scan when they enter the building, late to class. This would allow a touchless process, no signing in, no passes, etc. (no paper/pen). Is it possible that a student could scan a QR code and it feed to PowerSchool attendance to mark them as Tardy and the time they entered?

Has anyone used this method?

Thank you for reaching out to PowerSchool Community!

Currently, PowerSchool doesn't have a feature that tracks records when students use a QR code to scan when they enter the building.  We encourage other community members to respond to this thread with their experiences around this topic if they have tried any.
