The PowerSchool Mobile App was supposed to be updated by now with the ability for people to sign in with their Office 365 credentials (or Google I am sure) but this has not been done yet. What is up? Upgrading the UC platform with this without the App was a VERY big mistake and my parents are beginning to clamour at my gates with pitchforks and torches!
Tha app is STILL not updated. What is going on? Why is there not a roadmap notation in Community? What is going on?
Thank you for your patience as the PowerSchool Mobile team works towards delivering Office 365 SSO sign-on feature to Unified Classroom for Mobile.
I would like to let you know that we are on track to release the update to Unified Classroom for Mobile App, it will be available sometime in November. We currently do not have a definite date of release, however, an article detailing the feature release will be available before the release in November itself.
We appreciate your patience and are excited to deliver the feature to you at the latest.
It appears the Mobile App was updated over the weekend and I cannot find an article stating that the change was made. Now when you put in your district code and hit continue, the screen "Flashes" a few times and you are taken to "WELCOME TO UNIFIED CLASSROOM". You no longer put in your WEB ACCOUNT ACCESS username, you enter your UC Credentials. Where is the article explaining this change?
Hi @feltonhm,
This is a great question about the Mobile App Update!
We did release an update of the Mobile App this past weekend. This release will redirect parents and students to their Unified Classroom accounts. It also includes content such as Activity Feed, Calender and Standards Progress information.
The PowerSchool Mobile for Unified Classroom Status Update. should guide you through the updated changes. The Unified Classroom Product updates section is accessible by Designated Support Contacts. If you are not able to access the link, I recommend reaching out to Designated Support Contacts of your School District to get access to view the link provided above.
I recommend subscribing to the Unified Classroom Product Updates page to receive notifications when release notes are published. The subscriptions and Notifications article should guide you through the process of subscribing to pages in the Community and managing your notification preferences.
