One Course that spans 3 class periods

I am using PowerScheduler.  I have some classes that take up 3 class periods.  How do I set those up before I build the schedule?  Do I use constraints?

If the class always spans 3 period you set periods per meeting to 3. This is a setting on the course preferences page in PowerScheduler: PowerScheduler > Courses > Select Course > Preferences tab.

Thank you!  Can I specify the periods that it meets?  For example, the class meets every day Periods 2, 3, & 4.

Hello, yes you specify valid start periods to indicate in which periods the classes for the course can build. If you do not specify valid start periods the course can build in any period. You use the frequency course preference to specify how often in the cycle the course meets. For example, if you are on a 2 day cycle and the course meets every day the frequency is 2. If the class meets every other day in a 2 day cycle the frequency is 1. You will need to make sure you fill out all applicable course preferences.
