My daughter’s PowerSchool app does not show her classes for this school year. The classes do show when logging into PowerSchool on a computer browser. We tried logging in and out, uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, deleting it and downloading again and restarting the phone. Nothing has solved it. We’ve had PowerSchool for years and have never had a problem with it. I should mention that we were required to change the password before logging in for this school year.
PowerSchool support told me to contact the district administrator. Before I do that, wondering if anyone has any advice on what may fix this problem?
Same issue here. As a district admin, I can't find a single setting that resolves the issue. I'll be contacting Powerschool about the issue tomorrow. Until I have a fix, I'll be telling parents to use the web-browser version on phones, and to avoid the app.
I figured it out! the Final Grade Setup was not configured in the school that had no classes showing in the mobile app.
The district Powerschool admin needs to set up reporting terms at School Setup>FinalGrade/Reporting Terms and that should do the trick!
It appears that we have terms set up. I can see S1, S2, and Y1 and they each have dates in the appropriate range, but some of my students are seeing "No Classes" while others of them are seeing classes as they should. Any one else experiencing this? We have signed out and signed in, deleted the old app and installed the new one and can't seem to get it to correct itself...
Hi @MsVande,
If some students are seeing "No Classes" while others are seeing their classes correctly, it could be due to several reasons. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help resolve this issue:
If you still require assistance on this issue, please reach out to the PowerSchool SIS Support team through a case.
Thank you. Our counselor finally discovered a checkbox that was having it suppress the data from the app. Once that was fixed, students were able to see their classes!
Hi there,
I am having the same issue. Where was that setting?
Hi @kbrown21
You would need to verify the Final Grade setup of the district. Please configure it following the steps mentioned in this article: How-To-Final-Grade-and-Reporting-Term-Setup.
Thank you, I will check that out 🙂
