How to push notification to parents/students/staff via PowerSchool Mobile Apps, right now all notifications parents are getting via App is for students Assignments/Grades and Attendance? how to see notification via School Announcement  tab which is included into PS Mobile App?

The mobile app does allow for notifications for attendance and grades.  Currently, the Announcement board does not send a notification to users when an announcement is added.    I have submitted a feature request to the PowerSchool Product team on your behalf to enable notifications for School Announcements within the mobile app.  We thank you for your suggestions to improve the PowerSchool Mobile app.

Thank you for your quick response!  A daily bulletin can include announcements as well as any other information the school would like to posts to parents and students.  A school bulletin is intended to share announcements for individual schools throughout the district.

I have provided steps below that will guide you through the process of creating, editing, and deleting bulletins.  The article accessible to Technical Contacts that will walk through the steps, as well as formatting steps, can be found here.

Create a new Bulletin Item

1. Navigate to Start Page > Special Functions > Daily Bulletin Setup.
2. Click the New button.
3. Enter a title for the new bulletin item.
4. Enter a starting date and an ending date. These dates determine the date range that this particular bulletin item will be displayed.
5. Select the Target Audience. The audience determines who can view the bulletin item.
6. Enter the sort order for the new bulletin item.
7. In the Item Body field, enter the content for the bulletin item. 

Edit or Delete an Existing Bulletin Item

1. Navigate to Start Page > Special Functions > Daily Bulletin Setup. PowerSchool displays all existing bulletin items.
2. Select a bulletin item to edit by clicking on the start date in the Date Range column.
3. To edit the bulletin item, modify the values in the Item Title, Date Range, Target Audience, Sort Order, and Item Body fields then submit your changes.
4. To delete the bulletin item, click the Delete button.

I also have the same question.  If I post a daily bullentin, does it download to the parent app as an announcement?

A daily bulletin can include announcements as well as any other information the school would like to posts to parents and students.

To allow the announcement to appear for parents and students, you will want to select the parents as the target audience when creating a bulletin.  The audience determines who can view the announcement.

How can folks get the Daily Bulletin automatically when they first log in each day without clicking on the link "Daily Bulletin." ?  Perhaps as a pop up or a screen leading to the first window?

To see either of pop up alert within Mobile App with mobile notification or via an email notification.

One of both solutions can help parents to instantly notified with every new bulliten.

Hello - I am wondering which grades trigger a mobile notification - what about assignment grades and standards grades - do they trigger an alert on the mobile app?

Yes, notifications are triggered for assignment grades and standards grades as well.

You can turn on the notifications either in the app or on your device through the Operating System with the following steps.

1. Click the menu button
2. Click the Link for Settings
3. Click Notifications
4. Check the boxes for the types of notifications you want to receive
5. Submit the page

For Android Devices Navigate to your menu > More > Account > Select the type of notification to turn on the notification. For Apple Devices you will be prompted upon the initial app launch, and you can also able them by navigating to Settings > Notifications > PowerSchool.
