How to Publish Your App to the Schoology Learning App Center

You've put in the work to create an app for Schoology and now you want it listed in the App Center for all Schoology users. What now?

If your app is School specific, you don't need to proceed with these steps. Instead, share it directly with the district you developed it for.

Submitting your app has two (2) very important parts. You MUST complete both for you app to be tested and published for availability in the Schoology Learning App Center.

Part 1: Submit the App in Schoology Learning

1. Login to your Schoology sandbox account
2. Navigate to App Center > My Developer Apps
   (You should have already created the app to get your client ID, Oauth key & Oauth secret)
   Unpublished apps listed in Schoology Learning

3. Select the Options menu to expand options and choose Submit 

   Select Publish from the Options menu
4. Press Submit to confirm you want to publish your app
   Confirm you want to submit your app to the App Center

Completing this first part will not make your app visible in the App Center. You must complete the second part with testing details so that PowerSchool staff can test your app and approve it for the App Center.

Part 2: Notify PowerSchool that the App is Ready to Test

Please complete the form with details necessary for PowerSchool to fully test the installation of your app. We will need installation instructions that you will provide customers with valid credentials that we can use for testing.
