Making Classes in Extras Section Accessible to Parents

We have recently imported parents from PowerSchool SIS into PowerSchool Learning.

We have the following issues:

  • Parrents cannot view the classes their children are enrolled in currently
    • Unlinking and relinking the sections does not appear to fix this issue
    • Creating a new class, linking the imported sections to the roster does work.
    • Copying the class, creating sections and linking imported sections to the roster fresh appears to fix this issue. This is not practical to execute at the moment for hundreds of classes with on-going discussions.
  • Parrents do not see the "Extras" section on the portal page; they do not see any classes
    • We use Extras for clubs and sports -- we would like parents to have easy access to this
    • Parents can follow a link to an active class that is listed under Extras in which their child is enrolled. Emailing the links to every parent is not practical.

Are there any solutions to this? Have we missed a setting somewhere to show the "Extras" section to parents?

Thank you for your help.

This issue is resolved. Please disregard this portion of the question.

Resolution: Parent portal requried refresh after student was added to a course listed under "Extras" -- signing out and signing in for the parent resolved this.
