New to NC. Need help about registration for school

HI,

We are moving from California to Cary, NC sometime in june 2021. Our new house construction will be completed by oct 2021. i have a 5th grader and 2nd grader for 2021- 2022 academic year. White oak elementary will be the assigned school for our house. I don't want kids to face so much of change from here and there. What are the steps i have to do to get in with in our assigned school/magnet school for the start of academic year itself.

Each district has a different process for registration.  I recommend reaching out to the school or district office directly to verify what the registration process is and how to get started for the 2021 - 2022 school year.  Here is an article that might help you in answering many queries: Enrollment (Registration) Family Support FAQ
