Hi Community members,
I would like to know how can I suspend student account, to hide student and parent view for limited time and keep the teacher and Admin view with edit permission enabled.
Trying the Active/inactive feature and it causes many issues in account duplications due to the integration points & data sync
Please advise on the best scenario in applying this
Thank you
After selecting the student you should have "Access Accounts" in the Left Nav Menu. That page contains a check box for disabling/enabling access. Once you make a selection and submit, the user (student or parent) should not be able to sign in and view their account.

Thank you, I tried the above steps and issue still persists, it seems that the integration between PowerSchool & Schoology is not finalized yet which will not help in applying the above solution, coz the steps will deny the access through PowerSchool only Schoology access will remain grant for the user.
Please share the steps of denying user access on both platforms.
Thank you
Since you are dealing with Schoology and not just PowerSchool, you will need to go to Tools inside of Schoology. From there go to Manage Users. Find the user in the Edit Users tab, select the student and then in the Select Bulk Action dropdown choose Mark Inactive.
Hopefully this will achieve what you are hoping.

Thank you for ur feedback, I tried the above scenario, it's deny the student/parent access but causes other issues once we reactivate the account, such user auto-enrollment on all subjects, duplication, grades issues.. so the feature is not the best approach, its cons are much.
