Hi,
My student has an android phone with Google Family link enabled. I've added their school account using this procedure. Even still, they are having trouble logging in to Power School because when they try to login, they are redirected in the app through what seems like browser authentication, which is associated with their personal account. So they are blocked from authenticating with their school account.
Is there a workaround ?
Hi, @whysofma,
Thank you for reaching out!
For us to assist you further, would you please provide us with more information, such as the link that you are trying to sign in to for the PowerSchool system?

This is using the Power School App on android. Family link is installed. This means that the Android phone is "Supervised" and the account on the phone is locked down to a degree.
I've installed Google Classroom which then lets you add your school account to the phone. Now there should be 2 accounts on the phone 1 personal & 1 school.
I load up powerschool, click I'm a Student, enter my school code. This takes me to a login page except the school account, the one that I need to login to PS with is not available.
Here's the thing - I was able to login yesterday. Today when the student tried to use PS, they were logged out, and now can't log back in with their student account. Note that the phone, under settings > accounts, still has the student account associated.
If I remove Google Family link, the problem clears up. But I need to maintain my parental controls.
Sorry - let me also share this image. This is on the Accounts page within Android's settings: you can see that the first account is the personal account. We can't log into PowerSchool with that account. BUT the second account "...@students.natickps.org" is provisioned on the phone. And in the previous message, you'll see that @Students.natickps.org is not an available choice to use for credentials for Powerschool.
Hi @whysofma,
We recommend reaching out to your school District System Admin to troubleshoot this issue. If further assistance would be required District System Admin will reach out to our PowerSchool Support Team.
