Have the Performance Matters developers considered adding an option to filter by year? The options in "Test Center" already have: Course Type, Assessment Category, and Test Grade Level as options for filtering. Filtering by subject (Course Type) and Grade Level is most helpful when the exact test title is not available. The "Test Title" column gives arrows, which allows the searcher to arrange the tests in ascending or descending order. This option definitely helps. However, the list can be cumbersome when there are numerous tests listed.
My proposal is to add to the row of filter options, a "school year" tab to narrow the search when filtering. This would be particularly helpful since some assessments, as in the case of mathematics, has a list of assessments that go back as far as 2015-16 school year. This option would also enable tests to "stand out" for the searcher due to the fact that many tests have the same title but different years.
Thank you for your consideration.
Hi @Emmie1
Thank you for reaching out to the Community for assistance!
If you cannot find tests in the test centre searching by school year, it could be that the tests have been extended in test windows beyond the time they should have been used. Only those tests appear at first access, which is ready to be administered or expected to be administered during the year.
You may need a different method for having the district staff look at the tests that have an open window and determine if they are appropriate.
Please let us know in case of further queries.
My suggestion has to do with a general search, not searching for the tests that have open windows. That is an easy search. I have administrative rights so I generally open the testing event window. When I am doing a global search without the test event ID #, it would be helpful to have another way to narrow the search.
I am referring to the menu of tests that are not open but have been duplicated with only the year that has changed. As stated in my original post (see below), this is just a suggestion for the developers' consideration.

Hi @Emmie1
Thank you for the follow-up!
It looks like that the tests themselves don't have a school year associated. We recommend navigating to the Test Center > Uncheck Limit to Open Test Window which would list out all the tests that the user has access to. You would have to search for the School Year 2015-2016 or the year you referring to.
You should be able to view everything entered for that school year by searching with 15-16 year. In case, you are typing 2016, it should limit to all tests given with that somewhere in the folder structure.
Please let us know if this helps.
