Support Requested | HTTP Status 500 (java.lang.NullPointerException)

This HTTP Status 500 error code keeps showing up for a teacher when they try to log in to Power Teacher. As a temporary solve they empty the cache on Chrome, yet the error message returns upon the next visit. It is a work stoppage. Does anyone have a more permanent long-term solve for this error? Would this teacher be able to solve this error on their own or do they need specific tech support? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

The "HTTP Status 500 – Unexpected exception occurred: java.lang.NullPointerException" error can be caused due to various reasons which include data issues on the district's end.  I recommend connecting with the district's Designated Support Contact to seek help resolve the issue.  The PowerSchool Designated Support Contact should reach out to the PowerSchool SIS Support Team if further assistance is needed.
