Some of my student in the SIS have an icon (black square)that shows they have an IEP. How do I update the ones who don't have it showing?
Hello @Hed!
In PowerSchool SIS, if you find the black square icon not appearing for students who have an IEP, the reason could be those student's data has not been properly exported to PowerSchool SIS from Special Education.
Please check the Alert Export Report to confirm whether proper data has been exported to PowerSchool SIS from Special Education. You should navigate through the following path.
Login to PowerSchool Special Education> Administration> Configuration> Integration> Exports> View Export Logs

What helped was going to the student profile, under eligibility adding the eligibility and checking the "found eligible at last evaluation" box.
As far as I know the check boxes provide a quick way for parents and students to see what areas will be assessed. The evaluation report will show for example whether a student submitted all assignments to be eligible to pass an exam at https://cheapessaywriter.co.uk.
Is there a way to print a report that includes these icons? Teachers want a simple way to see which students receive special education services. If grade book was able to show the icon on the score sheet, that would be incredibly helpful.
Hi @shannac1
The feature to print a report that includes the Special Education Services icon in the gradebook is not in the current functionality of our software. If you would like to have this feature built into our software, I recommend sharing your idea in PowerSchool Ideas Portal.

The PSSP icons appear in the attendance page in PowerTeacher (not PTP).
Hi, how to I enable/disable the appearance of special ed icons in the SIS?
Hi @shai
There is no direct way to enable or disable the alert icons. We have to either make the logic false in order to remove the alerts or true in order to show it in PSSP.
However, the Alert Export Report will help to export the alerts to SIS if it's showing in Special Programs and if removed from Special Programs, the nightly process will remove it from PS SIS.
Hi @shai
If you are unable to find a report under the View Export Logs, you would need to work with our Customizations team who may be able to build an export template for you. While this service does have a cost associated, we want to make sure you are aware of all available resources. You can submit a request for customization here using the Customizations form.
