Simple GPA

Our simple GPA is not calculating correctly. I know that PowerSchool is not making an error and that our IT department must have some settings wrong, but I don't know how to find it. I'm just a counselor. But I do know that when I hand calculate a student's simple GPA, I am getting a different GPA than what is in PowerSchool. Our IT department doesn't seem to think this is an issue because the weighted GPA is correct. What can I do?!

@Mbalut27 If you post the actual GPA calculation here (found at Setup>District>GPA Calculations>Calculation Methods), someone will be able to tell you exactly how it is calculating.

For example, this GPA in the screenshot takes:

The SUM of the GPA Points TIMES the Potential Credit, DIVIDED by the SUM of the Potential Credit

of all Y1 grades from grade levels 9-12 that count in GPA and have Potential Credit.
