Is there a way administrators can view the seating chart for a classroom?

A recent suggestion that was posted in the Community said yes, via the Sub portal. Unfortunately the seating charts aren't populated in the teacher schedules page.

How do you get access to the subportal

The password is set at the school level --> School Setup --> Sub Sign In Settings

Then subs login at yourdomain/subs/pw.html

Great question!  This is a huge issue with the need to cohort students and complete contact tracing.  PowerSchool - Please escalate this one!

In PowerSchool Ideas Portal, there is an enhancement request submitted. Please upvote on the idea if would like to have this feature in the current system. Please find the enhancement request below.

There is now a customization in the Exchange to allow Admin to see teachers seating charts.
