Okay, so I have another contact related question. Has anyone else run into the issue where if you search for a Contact from the Start Page you can search by last name and get a full list of contacts, but when you select a student and add a Contact to their account, you enter the same last name and click search, but most of the contacts are missing.
This is an major issue because our staff has simply begun creating new contacts for every student instead of associating existing contacts with students. So it MotherA has Child1 and Child2, instead of associating the same contact with two students, because they can't find them when they search contacts from the add screen on a students account, they quickly create a new contact with the same name for the second child.
Any assistance or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

If you are running into a situation where most of the contacts are missing when you select a student and add a Contact to their account, that could be due to bad data or any setup issues. We recommend working with the Designated Support Contacts within your school district who should be able to connect with the PowerSchool SIS Support team to look into this further and troubleshoot the cause.
