I have a school where most (but not all) of the students are showing crazy numbers of absences. For example, one student is showing 84 absences on the report card even though their attendance record in the system and attendance reports only show 6.
I am a brand new powerschool user, so have been applying me experience to other SIS, but have not found any reason or resolution for this. Here's what I've looked at:
I've looked at the attendance records for several students and they seem to be appropriate.
The Attendance Count Report shows the correct # of absences for the students.
I've looked at attendance setup compared to other schools and the Attendance preferences are the same
Would appreciate any insight that might lead to a resolution.
