I am still writing late passes by hand, we don't have the ability to scan student ID's to print out late passes. Does PS have a way to type a students name and some kind of label/ID/Pass printer that goes with it.
Example: if I type a student's name in PS and just click something to print a pass??
Hi @Gmonty4!
Thank you for reaching out to PowerSchool Community!
To assist you further, would you please let us know if you were trying to export a report that gives you Late Pass or Fail?
I am looking at a way to print Late passes when students come in late. Do you have a machine that can print out passes that we could set up with a laptop? I hand write passes and would be easier to type a students name in and click on something to print out a pass...
Hi, @Gmonty4,
Thank you for the follow-up!
Yes, you can now print an Admit Slip for students that are late to school. The Admit Slip displays the student's name, grade, homeroom, today's date, period(s) missed, clock in/clock-out times if applicable, and a signature line for the parent/teacher.
You can do this by navigating to the Daily Attendance tab>Click Add/Edit >On the Enter Attendance drawer, enter information as needed, and click Save. Upon clicking Save, the admit slip appears in a separate pop-up. Then you can Print and provide it to the student.
