Powerscheduler Load Issue

HELP! I am in a middle school (6th-8th grades), and we have our electives set up by grade levels for certain sections (periods). Example: 1st & 5th period electives are for 6th grade only, 2nd & 6th period electives are for 7th grade only, and 3rd and 7th period electives are for 8th grade only.

How do I set the parameters in scheduler for when I run a load each student is enrolled in their grade level course. Currently when I run a load, I have 7th graders being scheduled in 1st period electives and they should only go to 2nd & 6th period electives.

You could use Student Preference Constraints, but that may be too specific. The easiest method would probably be to create grade-level specific courses so the grades wouldn't mix.
