PowerSchool Certifications on Community profile?

Currently, when we pass a PowerSchool certification test, the only award we get is a little image file to put into our email signatures.  The only place I'd really want to use that is here... but I don't see any place that we can embed those onto our Community profile.  Can that be added in the future?

Re: PowerSchool Certifications on Community profile?

We love the idea of users being able to personalize their signature.  We are looking into the signature size and the ability to add images to the user's signatures in the community.  We provide an update early next week.

Re: PowerSchool Certifications on Community profile?

Hi @mhaydenraley, You can definitely add images to your signature on PowerSchool Community!

The signature area has a definite limit to the maximum height it will support.  I suggest keeping the image height in check, preferably using small size images.

Here are the step-by-step instructions to add Images to your signature on PowerSchool Community

Method 1:

  • Upload the image to an image hosting portal like imgur.com
  • Once the upload is complete right click on the image and select copy image address
  • Add the image link to the following HTML code
    <img src="url_here">
    • Example:
      <img src="url_here">
       becomes
      <img src="https://i.imgur.com/MmBkmFM.png">
  • Add it to your signature by navigating to My Settings under your avatar > Personal > Personal Information Signature and select Save.

Method 2:

  • In PowerSchool Community select Start A Discussion option
  • Above the text box select Photos and upload the photo of your liking and press done, you can also choose to customize its size and position in this step
  • Select the HTML option above the text box and copy the HTML code
    • Example:
      <li-image width="455" height="100" alt="new-ps-logo.png" align="inline" id="128i4B21C2F18FD76093" sourcetype="new"></li-image>
  • Add it to your signature by navigating to My Settings under your avatar > Personal > Personal Information Signature and select Save.

I hope this helps!
