Plugin Development - Getting Started

Hi everyone.  I've been reading through the forums and this looks like a great community!

I'm a computer science teacher in CT and I'm interested in working on a plugin.  I have some basic questions that don't seem to have answers (from what I've found).

1. Is it possible to develop in a sandbox environment without my district purchasing anything additional?

2.  How can I get a PowerSource account on my own (not created by my district)?

You would need to work with the sales@powerschool.com to see what are options available for you to achieve your requirements. 

PowerSource accounts are created by districts. You can also reach out to businessoperations@powerschool.com to see if individual account creation is possible.
