We are currently integrating our tool with Schoology using LTI 1.3 including AGS. We have set up a system that allows us to create deep links within Schoology. However, we are running into issues with syncing dates between our tool and Schoology.
Is it possible to send a ltiResourceLink with a submission or available startDateTime/endDateTime? These dates seem to not go through to Schoology. We have created them using iso8601 however, despite the deep link being created, the due date remains blank.
Furthermore, if I update the due date within Schoology I get the date, but if I try and update the scoreMaximum it overwrites the due date and sets it to blank again.
Is there something that I am missing? How can I effectively communicate dates between our platforms? Is it possible to only send a scoreMaximum change without affecting the due date? Can I update the due date or even set an initial due date?
Lastly, what is the best way to know when a line item is due? Custom parameters?
