It has been a few years since I have delt with applying, but this is what I recall from a few years ago. Each system is separate, but as you sign in to the new district it should recognize your account as a match with another district and allow you to copy it over. After you do that initially it does not continue to sync but lives inside of the new districts system. This means all changes will need to be made in both if you wish to keep both applications/CVs active.
