We created a dummy period and create sections (CM001 Case Mgr ESL, CM002 Case Mgr Intervention, CM003 Msc Dept - course we use). The sections are last period of the day and only one day - just so the section exists and shows in PTP. Then we enroll all of the students a CM is responsible for). Now our case managers can access of their students in PT (and not need admin access), can easily find demographic data, send emails, etc. Use the entry does show on the student's schedule but the dummy period is called CM and the courses are named Case Manager so when students/parents see it they understand what it is (and also remind them who their case manager is)
