How to change TermID after section have created?

I have an issue when I create year/Term in the summer school. It automatically shows the Termid but it's not what I want because it should belong to the next school year(3100) not the current year (3000). 

Is any way to modify it correctly? Any Advices? Thank you!

Hi @minling,

Thank you for approaching in the Community for assistance.

When creating a new term at a Summer school, PowerSchool will assign different TermID values to the newly created term based on the month in which the ending date falls.

@ParitoshT Yes. I saw this article. The problem is our the end of summer day is July 30 but we would like to let them belong to next school year. What should I do on it?

You'll probably need to Open a support ticket to have them manually change it for you.

Thank you for reaching out in the PowerSchool Community.  The PowerSchool Support Team has resolved this issue on your behalf by removing the Term ID and recreating a new term with the correct dates.  You should now be able to to change the exit date of your choice, and add additional terms if needed.

  Thanks for your response. This is what I do. I remove the TermID and change the last day of the term to 8/1/2021 in the Start Page > School Setup > Years & Terms > Term Setup > Edit Term but the system still shows TermID is 3000. I cannot remove(delete) this YearTerm because there are sections already in it. Any advice?

Hi @minling, Thank you for your response.

Once a term is created, its term id cannot be changed. I recommend creating a new term with the date after 8/1/2021. I recommend reviewing this article.

It seems a little complicated. Finally, I contact PowerSchool support and the only way to do the store summer grade to next school year is using export and import data. I am trying to figure out how to process it. Thanks.
