How do I mark students homeless in PowerSchool SIS?

@JSchorfheide   For the state of Nebraska, we have a state provided field where we identify the state as homeless and the code that goes with it. Does your state have such field or is this for something you use only within your district?

@JSchorfheide   Our state also uses "Special Programs" within the student's SIS profile to track that information.

I am also trying to locate where to mark students as Homeless.  I went to the Special Programs tab and the page is blank and says "Documents are not available for this student".  Where can I find steps directions on where to find the Homeless place to mark?

I am in Alabama.  Thank you.

@KarenS8  When you click on Special Programs, do you see this?

You then can click "New"

You will need to make sure your PS SIS admin has a Special Program type of Homeless setup. As I mentioned in my previous post, our state (Nebraska) provided the setup for us. This is because our state pulls this information.

@KarenS8   If this is something your district wants to track and not required by the state, your PS SIS can create a Special Program for your own district use.
