Help with setting up graduation planner

Hi everyone,

My name is Innocent and I'm quite new to Powerschool. I was wondering if anyone can help me with setting up and configuring Powerschool Graduation Planner. The documentation is not very clear and does not explain the actions that I have to click and why I have to do it. Can anyone please help me to set this up or provide clearer documentation or walk me through the process once.

Thank you,

Innocent Mojela

I set ours up while watching Jason's Insider. There's an episode with a big chunk dedicated to the subject and so it was pretty easy to do it while watching it.

Hi @imojela

Thank you for posting on the PowerSchool Community.

I understand your concern, for setting up and configuring Powerschool Graduation Planner.  There is a how-to article on setting up the Graduation Planner within the PowerSchool SIS help site.

To access this documentation, please follow the steps listed below.

1.Navigate to PowerSchool SIS> Help> System Help
2. Next, select Graduation Planner District setup or Graduation Planner School Setup

Below is the screenshot for the Graduation Planner user guide.

If you do not have admin access to the Student Information System, we recommend connecting with a PowerSchool Designated Support Contact within your district to assist in accessing this documentation.

Hope this helps.
Please let us know if there is anything we can help with.

Hi! I'm unable to view the video, would you have any suggestions on who to contact for that?

Hi @ncarver

Thank you for your question.

PowerSchool SIS Insider resources are accessible by users with a PowerSource account and Designated Support Contacts in the school or district.  We recommend connecting with your school or district's existing Designated Support Contacts who can help set up a PowerSource account for you.

You can also reach out to us at bussinessoperations@powerschool.com and we will connect with your district's Designated Support Contacts to request access on your behalf.

You can learn more in the article linked below.

I'm also getting a message that I don't have access to that and I really need it.  My district IT office support who works with the district side of PS recommended I watch episode 33, so I would really love to be able to watch it.

Hi @ericfox,

Thank you for reaching out to PowerSchool Community!

As Bishal mentioned on this thread earlier, some resources are publicly accessible on PowerSchool Community while others are available to specific roles in a district such as the role of a Designated Support Contact or users with a PowerSource account.  If you have a PowerSource account and still unable to access a resource, it is likely that the resource is only accessible by Designated Support Contacts. In case you feel that you should have access to certain resources, I recommend reaching out to a Designated Support Contact of your district to request the access to be added to your account.

You can also send an email at businessoperations@powerschool.com and PowerSchool will work with the current Designated Support Contacts within your school district to request the access be added to your account.

Hi

The Insider episodes are within PowerSource, and I believe it's episode 33.
