After logging in to PowerSchool SIS, I have not been able to get to the Special Education Homepage for 2 days. I get a message that says "An error occurred while attempting to log in" (even though I have already logged in). Power School Special Programs asks for an "open id" which I have never even heard of nor seen before. I have attempted to retype my username and password in the "open id" window and I just keep getting the same message.
Hello! @sthiemann,
"Open Id" is a Single Sign-On that permits a user to use one set of login credentials (e.g., name and password) between PowerSchool SIS and Special Programs homepage. It is applicable for users who want to access the product Special Programs through PowerSchool SIS.
If PowerSchool Special Programs is asking for an "Open Id", it may be one of the following issues:
1.) A user might have recently changed their set of login credentials (e.g., name and password)
2.) The Single Sign-On plugins are not updated
3.) The user's Open ID is not registered with the Special Programs
4.) The user's Open ID is registered with the Special Programs but there is a duplicate profile
associated with that Open ID
I recommend reaching out to one of the Designated Support Contacts in your district to look into your Special Programs account.
