Excused assignments

Is there a way to mark an assignment as excused for a particular student?

In PowerTeacher Pro you can mark it as exempt and the student as absent.

If you are exempting a student and want to show they are exempt, use the symbols that PTPro has. However blank scores will have essentially the same effect. They will be ignored in the grade calculation. This is useful for students that you do not want to mark exempt and give a free pass but do not want to pile on 0s so the student has zero chance of recovering the grade.

Anyone know if this still holds true in the 2021 version?

Hi, @gwilborn,

Thank you for reaching out!

Yes, this still holds true for the latest version 21.4 of PowerSchool SIS.
