Currently, PowerSchool is not providing database-level encryption.  If you require further information, we recommend reaching out to the Designated Support Contacts in your district, who should be able to connect you with the PowerSchool Support team.

If my school has an existing PowerSchool install with an Oracle database and we separately purchase the Oracle Advanced Security license and enable Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), which is completely transparent to the application (e.g., no changes required), would we lose support?

Currently, PowerSchool is unable to provide support with any issues you will have due to implementing this software.
