Build Is Failing

I did a build "validate only" and successfully cleared up all Errors.

Now when I am trying to do an actual Build, it keeps failing 84% of the way through, on a particular course (Photo II). I cannot find any issues with my set up of the course. All assignments and constraints/ periods/frequency look fine.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

I have already tried moving the course up in my course rank and that is not helping...

What is my next step?

If you move Photo II to the first to build, does it still fail at the 84% mark?  I'm assuming you have assigned enough seats / capacity for the course. (I haven't done build in ages, so I'm trying to remember the process.)

Troubleshooting a failing Build is notoriously difficult. Some things to check out:

Constraints/Relationships on the course?

Is the teacher over-booked?

Is the room in use/does it require "Facilities?"

When the build fails its usually tied to incorrect course, teacher, room, term settings. Any time you make a major change to a course setting you should update the rank. But, like has been mentioned you can have everything set correctly and still get a failing build. The first thing I do when I continually get hung up on a class is move it all the way to the TOP of the rank. If it fails at the top, that means something in the setup is definitely wrong.

If the build gets past the course when its at the TOP, I gradually move it down closer to where it should be until it hangs again.

The other option is to put the course all the way to the BOTTOM and if everything else builds but that course, I import the build and see if I can figure out what it hanging it up.
