Auto-calculate standards - grades not showing on report card

Hello,

In October, my district switched from Powerschool Haiku to SIS. For the first semester, teachers had to manually input grades for our standards-based report cards. We were told that the grades would auto-calculate for second semester. So, teachers (such as myself) used the Powerteacher Pro grade book for all assignments. Each assignment is connected to the specific standards and auto-calculate final grades is turned on. When I generate a Final Grades report, there is an averaged grade for the grade book (Language Arts, Math, etc.). My district has everything set up so each section of the report card (ELA, math, etc.) is it's own class on Powerschool. Then within those gradebooks, we have our specific standards.

My admin is now telling me I'll have to go through each assignment, determine the standards assessed, manually calculate and input the grades. I know there must be a way for Powerschool SIS to show the grade by standard. When I run the Standards Grades Report it shows an overall grade (for the grade book) but the grade is empty next to the standards. Has anybody had a similar experience? I'd love to know how to have my grades auto-calculated by standard so they generate on my report card. Thank you!!

@mrsdracolakis In your PowerTeacher Pro gradebook, go to Settings > Standard Grade Calculations and verify that box is checked to Auto-calculate and the correct method is set.  This can also be done per assignment.  If these are checked, I'm not clear why your standards aren't calculating, but you might try clearing the score from the assignment, and then reentering it to force the calculation.  This is tedious, but is the workaround when scores have not auto-calculated and the assignment has already been scored.
