Attendance Criteria Calculations Do Not Include Transfer Buildings

Right now, when you run attendance criteria calculations, it only includes the student's current building. We need it to show the entire year of attendance. Students may have multiple unexcused absences at their previous campus in the district but when they transfer, it does not pick those up.

I do not know what you mean by " attendance criteria calculations," but attendance in PowerSchool is building-specific. You can search for the student in their previous building using the *asof=" command. Go to the student's previous building and search 

*asof=6/25/2025;last_name=smith

(obviously use the correct date and name)

You can then run an attendance report normally for them. If you know SQL you can always get the data that way.

It's the truancy reports that our campus data clerks run. They would have no way to do it through SQL. They were just hoping that attendance was not building specific but district specific.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. You may be able to find a report in the free bundle here. They used to all be free but now they are a subscription service.
