This year, my district decided to limit our assignment categories in PowerSchool to "major" (70%) and "minor" (30%). Many teachers prefer using the weighted categories we've used in prior years (Classwork 35%, Tests/Projects 25%, etc.). Would the "weight" that appears when adding an assignment allow us to do that? For example, could we add all Classwork assignments to the "major" category (70%) and give them all a weight of .5 so that they're worth 35% overall? The answer may seem obvious, but this is our 1st year using PS & we've been given very little training on it, so I prefer not to assume. Thanks in advance for your help!
