How soon should I inform PS about my decision to cancel a product or service from my account?

You need to inform PowerSchool, 60-90 days prior to the due date on the renewal quote.

 

Can we cancel the product if it is under active contract?

Please note that, If the product is under active contract, cancellation is not allowed. Since the contact was signed by your organisation after all consideration, you would be obliged to pay the invoices for the product being used. You can reach out to the Customer Success Manager for more information or concerns regarding product usage. They will assist you in case you need additional training, or any support required.

 

We want to remove one of the product lines from the invoice/quote that we have received. What are the next steps?

If the renewal quote related to the invoice has already been signed by you or anyone from your school, we won't be able to proceed with your request. However, if you're contacting us before the renewal start date or prior to signing the renewal, your Customer Success Manager will be able to assist you. For reaching out to our team please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to PowerSchool Community: Use your credentials to access the PowerSchool Community portal.
  2. Navigate to Customer Connect Portal: Once logged in, find and click on the Customer Connect portal.

Select “Support” Tab: In the Customer Connect portal, locate and select the “Support tab” tab and look for My PowerSchool Contacts. Here you can find your contacts to reach out to for help.

 

What are the limitations or terms to follow before we can get the cancellation reversed?

PowerSchool Renewals team will be reaching out to you for any product renewal before 120 days. In case you requested for a cancellation earlier, but want to reverse the cancellation, please reach out to your Renewals Manager before 60 days of the current renewal start date. Your Renewal Manger will check internally and assist you accordingly.
