A new employee accidentally entered her boyfriend's name instead of her name in a demographic field in an onboarding document. When I searched for her name, I couldn't find her because the system had switched the checklist I assigned in her name to his name. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Can demographic fields be locked?
You should be able to set the demographic field in an e-Form to Read-only by following the steps mentioned below.
Navigate to Configuration > E-forms and search for the form name.
Click on Edit and then the Edit button again and finally the Edit button for the Demographic field.
At the bottom of the pop-up, you will find the Show Permissions option.
Make sure both dropdowns for direct report and supervisor are set to Read Only.
Click on Save > Save Final to publish any changes on the e-form.
