Entering 'I' for Senior Courses

We understand the workaround provided but I am wondering about the process for continuing education courses.

If we drop the course, it will affect the number of sessions for funding.

Can we leave the course as scheduled until the end but somehow change the demit code for those students who receive an 'I' in a senior course?

Hi Sally,

There is the ability to set the demit Indicator for a student's course through the Update Student Program window, on the Program tab.  You will need to set the School Academic preference 'Allow Modifying Course/Section in Class' on for that school in order to enable the demit indicator field.

If you change the student's demit indicator status through this window, do not also adjust the student's schedule using the Load Students window.  The Load Students window will overwrite changes made through the Program tab.

HI Sherry

We are just trying to process our Night School final marks with the 'I'.

Looking at the Credit Counselling summary, the I appears in both Current Year Courses and Achievement and Completed Elective Credits at the top.  It also appears with the course in the Transcript Information but does not appear on an actual transcript.  Is this correct?
