Community Service Hours and OSSLT for Graduates

Has there been any updates from the Ministry how Community Service Hours and OSSLT should be handled.  We have a student who is using 105 application because they are an adult need to have this flagged.  They need to have the transcript to the school by May 15 which we will email.  I need to know how I'm supposed to show that these we flagged during Covid-19.

Have you subscribe to this resource in PowerSchool community?  It lists all the latest information we have from the minisry.

Hi Melinda:

We just posted an update on this item under the Trillium COVID-19 Resources.  Please check out the blog at https://help.powerschool.com/t5/Trillium-COVID-19-Resources/Waiving-Community-Involvement-and-Litera...

Until the community involvement modifications are released, the hours will need to be set to 40 in order to grant the diploma.  Please contact me at Sherry.Pfeffer@powerschool.com if you wish to discuss this further.

Hi There,

I'm now receiving questions from our Guidance Heads if there is a report that shows the Community Service Hours and Literacy tests have been waived.  They are trying to use the Graduates/Potential Graduates report and it still shows the original information.

Thanks,

The community hours waived field does not appear on any report.  Boards can create a Trillium report/jasper report to get a list of students who have the field set on.  The field com_hrs_waive_flag10 was added to the persons table, and holds a 1 if the checkbox has been turned on.

For the literacy test, the Potential Graduates report will display 'N/A' under the column Literacy Req't Status if the school changed the student's eligibility to waive the literacy test requirement.
