In order to safeguard PermissionClick from spamming attacks, we are introducing user account locking due to excessive failed login attempts.
Enter your username and password on the login page and click on the “Login” button.
If the login attempt fails, a prompt will appear notifying you of the failed attempt and that account may be locked after 5 failed attempts.
If you enter incorrect login details 5 times within a 15-minute timeframe, your account will be locked for 60 minutes. A prompt will appear stating, “Your account has been locked due to excessive failed login attempts. Please re-try to login with correct credentials after 60 minutes.”
During the lock period, you won’t be able to login even with the correct credentials. The login attempts will refresh after 60 minutes.
If your account is locked, you’ll have the option to reset your password. Click on the “Reset Password” option in the account lock prompt.
Follow the instructions sent to your registered email to reset your password.
Once the password is reset, the 60-minute lock period will be removed. You can now login using your new password.
