Child's Birthdate and School Year Incompatible

I am trying to register my child for kindergarten but when I enter his correct birthdate the system will not allow me to register him for kindergarten despite only being 5 years old. Howver, it will allow me to enroll him for first grade.

If you are receiving a message that the birth date has been entered in the incorrect format, I recommend ensuring the birth date is entered in the format stated with the registration form.  I also recommend ensuring there are no spaces before or after each number listed in the birth date.

The birthdate is acceptable when I list the child as attending first grade. It is not accepted for a child attending kindergarten.

We're glad to hear you were able to successfully submit your form! I would suggest contacting your school district directly to let them know that your student will be attending kindergarten rather than 1st grade.
