Tried registering multiple times, used different browsers, and every time I click on Create Account, I get this:
The connection was reset.

To assist you further would you please confirm which account you are trying to create, the PowerSchool SIS Parent portal account or the PowerSchool Enrollment account?
The issue resolved itself. This ticket can be deleted (as I added my phone number).
