retention report

My executive director asked for a report including how many students returned this year from the previous year. How could I pull that information?

Thank you for reaching out to us in PowerSchool Community.

You may try using *as_of search by date within PowerSchool SIS.  The *as_of search command allows PowerSchool administrators to create a selection of Students enrolled at the currently selected school on a specific date.  You should be able to build an export around the selections and export them.  If you have any further questions, we recommend getting connected with your Designated Support Contacts within your district who should be able to assist you with them.

How can I pull a retention list of students?

Currently, we do not have a report to pull a retention list of students. However, this is a great enhancement request.

You can Vote the similar Enhancement Request SIS-I-8646 on  PowerSchool Ideas Portal so that the product team can take a look at this. You can search for ideas using keywords or the idea number SIS-I-8646 in the Search Ideas field at the top right corner of the Ideas Portal.

1. Click on the Vote box next to the Idea.
2. The vote box should change to green and the counter should increase by one.
