A sync between IXL and PowerSchool will need to be setup by your PowerSchool system administrators. Teacher accounts do not have the ability to link the two systems for data security purposes. You will need to reach out to the database administrators in your school/district.

Many school districts tightly control which third party vendors they allow information to be shared with. In addition to the recommendations shared above and below, you will also need to keep in mind your district policy regarding PII and what information is allowed to be shared and which vendors it can be shared with. Our district thoroughly reviews the security information provided by vendors and if it doesn't meet strict guidelines, we do not allow them to be used. While IXL is one of our trusted vendors, your district may not have them on your approved list. It is always best practice to check with your school/district prior to sharing student information with any outside group.

@richo Does your school district use Clever? My school district uses Clever. Students log in to their Clever account and click on the ixl app to complete their assignments. Clever sends only the information from PowerSchool that ixl needs. We use it for rostering only. Most of the apps sync with Clever once a day. You might want to talk to your district administrator. Clever has a lot of videos.
