eFinance Fund Accounting Balance Sheet Account

Hi,

I need to create a new account payable (accrue interest) account in eFinance. It looks like our payable accounts starts with 0400-000. How do I find out what is the correct way to set it up? thank you.

Hi @wendyy,

You would need to work with the PowerSchool support team to get further assistance on this. A Technical Contact can create a case or start a chat with the eFinnacePlus Support team on behalf of you.

Setting up a new account payable account in eFinance is a good step for managing your finances. Since your current payable accounts start with 0400-000, it's a good idea to maintain consistency.

You can usually find guidelines and procedures for creating new accounts in your eFinance documentation or by reaching out to their customer support. They should provide clear instructions on how to set up a new account, including naming conventions and numbering.Additionally, if you need more specific advice tailored to your business, consider consulting with a small business accountant. They can provide expert guidance on financial management and ensure your accounts are set up correctly.
