Unweighted assignments

Is there a way to have general types of assignments (e.g., labs, quizzes, tests, etc.) that are NOT weighted and be worth just points?  That is, the quizzes may be worth a different number of points, the labs are worth different points, and the tests are worth different values - a final grade for the class is just the total points earned divided by total points possible.  This allows quizzes (or labs or anything else) to be added/removed without the need to go in and reassign any weighting.  In other words, 1 point = 1 point regardless of it being on a quiz, lab, or test.  The "weighting" is handled by the total possible points on each assignment.  Thanks!

Hi jpstimac,

If you are using PowerTeacher Pro, simply set your Traditional Grade Calculation to Total Points and when you create an assignment make it worth as many points as you'd like. I graded that way for all my years of teaching.
