SmartFind Express

Hello,

I am a new SmartFind Express user in need of assistance adding a new reason/budget code for absences.

I browsed under System Configurations and was unsuccessful.

I would greatly appreciate an email so I can connect with someone soon: gprado@lgusd.org

Thank you,

Gloria

Thank you for your post in the Community!

The System Configuration - Reason Menu and the Administrator Quick Reference Card articles provide information regarding the setup of a budget code.   Please let us know if these articles assist you with the setup of a new budget code.

It's incredibly difficult to get a hold of someone to assist me with issues with eSchool Solutions SmartFind Express. In the past, when I post on the community board, then someone will contact me (that's why I provided my email address). Is it possible you can connect me with someone who can assist me?

Thank you for your response.

I recommend reaching out to a Designated Support Contact within the school district to request assistance with SmartFind Express.  The DSC is encouraged to reach out to Unified Talent Support if further assistance is needed. If you feel you should be added as a Designated Support Contact (Technical Contact), I recommend reaching out to the district's PowerSchool Admin to request the role is added to your PowerSchool account.

I have a phone number to call, but they ask for a Support ID number and I cannot see it on my PowerSchool Comminity profile. Can you help me find it?

The number I call is 888-312-7231

Currently, Designated Support Contacts can reach out to PowerSchool Unified Talent Support.  I recommend reaching out to the DSC within the district to request assistance with SmartFind Express.  The DSC should have a Support ID to provide when calling into Unified Talent Support if further assistance is needed.

The provided links were helpful. I was able to speak with somone on the phone and he was very patient, helpful, and resourceful. He helped me with my problem.

In regards to the ID number that was requested, the system kept telling me to sign on to PowerSchool Community and that I would be able to retrieve the ID number. I did not contact DSC because I think it's an ID number on my profile that I cannot find.

Thank you,

Gloria

We are struggling to get our SmartFind Express system active so that our staff can use it.  I am not having any luck getting a reply from the person that we are working with - either via email or phone.  There are no absence balances in the system that I can see and I also need to now add all of our paras to the system.  Can someone help me please.  My email is dwalburn@silverlakeschools.org.

Thank you.
