Reset password

So I went to reset my password to login to power school to fill out the forms for my son and when it sent me a link to update my password when I try to go ahead and reset it it says invalid username; but I did the find my username so I know it's correct; and it also said or the password thing has expired but I JUST got sent the link so how is it expired? Please I need to be logged in to do my son's school stuff
